The Poor District by Tryingtofly The Poor District by Tryingtofly
Hello everyone. We where supossed to detail our previous week's thumbnail in James Paick's environment design class. This is my finished piece.
It's your typical sci fi story. A poor district in a huge city!

I hope you guys like it.

really good job..  I've tried now to create my vision for a futuristic city about a dozen times.  If digital art was on paper I'd have a pile of crumpled paper knee deep.

My only objection to this scene is the "trap" a lot of science fiction artists fall for is the dark foreboding lighting.   Cities today aren't dark and foreboding but so I don't expect that to show up in the future.

All the same it is a scene with a lot of visual interest.  Lots of detail and a very good work.
