The colonists have made their village in a Giant spaceship that crashed down on their planet many many years ago.
It's overgrown now and the colonists live in the abandoned chambers that are still intact.
It's a nice shelter for the hot and harsh jungle environment outside!

I love the atmosphere in this. The lighting is fantastic, and the mood is great, especially with the little lights near the end of the bridge. When you say 3D paintover, what do you mean? You made this with CG then painted over it?

One comment, though...the people standing in the snow at the bottom must be really tall when you look at them relative to the people on the bridge. The perspective is a little bit odd and they appear to be a good two feet taller than those guys on the bridge.

Hey! Thanks for the comment and for the awesome compliments! Yeah I made some very simple 3D geometry and then I painted the details and the ground in Photoshop and added some color later!

You are absolutely right about the people! I think they where supposed to stand a lot closer to the camera. Little mistake!
